che mi sembrava molto buono... Anche se mi pareva imponesse l'indicazione di un server SMTP altro per la posta in uscita.
Anche inetserv, come da pagina di presentazione:
"Inetserv is a freeware open source Win32 email server. It is a fully functional POP3 server with limited SMTP abilities. It includes SMTP, POP3, DAYTIME, FINGER, WHOIS, a telnet Interface and a webmail (browser) interface among it's services."
afferma di avere "limitate capacità SMTP".
Quanto al Mercury, dalla loro knowledge base:
After selecting the desired protocols, the next dialog prompts you for which SMTP Client protocol you wish to use: MercuryC SMTP Relay Client or MercuryE SMTP End-to-end Delivery Client. After selecting the desired SMTP Client protocol, the next step of Mercury/32's installation regards setting up the basic working configuration. You'll need to know or obtain the following info from your ISP:
the host name or IP address of this Mercury/32 machine (it can also just be your domain name).
WinPMail username to use as your local Mercury Postmaster.
the host name or IP address of your ISP's SMTP relay host, if you will be using the MercuryC SMTP Relay Client.
which level of anti-relaying to enable, if any (only required if MercuryS is installed). Normal anti-relaying is usually sufficient. Other options include Strict and None.
Quello si cui vorrei aver conferma, *prima *di ammazzarmi ad installare uno di questi cosi... è:
E' possibile creare un server con capacità SMTP senza agganciarlo al server SMTP del provider? Funziona?
E poi, visto che ci sono... quale è, secondo voi, il più sicuro? Cioé quello meno "attaccabile" da qualche hacker che voglia usarmelo di soppiatto per spammizzare mezzo mondo?
