modificare il testo in un layer non di testo (domanda folle)

ciao a tutti, acquistando un programmino di html ho potuto anche scaricare (incluso nel prezzo) alcuni templates per web

alcuni vengon con fonts e tutti i layer per poterli modificare con photoshop, alcuni però (e soprattutto quello che preferisco) non hanno fonts (però non è questo l'oggetto della domanda) e non hanno il layer con la T per poter modificare comodamente il testo, diciamo che hanno solo il layer base

adesso la mia domanda è: esiste qualche modo miracoloso per poter ricreare il layer di testo senza dover riscrivere il tutto e diventar matti con il font e tutto il resto?

questa è la spiegazione che viene con il template per cambiare il testo (tra l'altro dice chiaramente che ci sono solo le immagini e i files pds):

For instance, you want to change the text Your URL to your company name. To do so, select the move tool, right-click on the layer, select and then double-click the layer. This will open a popup box with an area to type the text. Replace the current text with what you want and click OK. If you want to place the text to a different location, click the object and then start dragging it to the place where you want and leave the object. This should move the object to its new place.

In pratica devi aprire il file PSD con photoshop o un programma che supporti tale formato.

A questo punto avrai la possibilità di selezionare il Layer che contiene il testo (di solito si chiama come il testo che contiene) ora non ti rimane che prendere lo stumento testo, andare sopra al termine che vuoi modificare e cliccare, cancellare il testo e sostituirlo con quello che vuoi tu, puoi anche scegliere la font che desideri.
