Partiamo dal concetto che odio i plugin.
Quello che ti ho detto di fare è semplice:
Apri il file .htaccess.
Trova la riga RewriteBase /
e sostituiscila con:
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^admin/(.*) wp-admin/$1?%{QUERY_STRING}

Dove sostituirai la parola 'admin' con il nome che hai assegnato alla tua cartella!
