    Qualcuno sa come installare plumi il software per creare siti tipo youtube

    Il file install.txt dice questo:

    1. Unzip the file plumi-x-x-x.tar.bz2 this will create a folder called Plumi-X.X in which all of the necessary products are kept.

    2. Update your Zope instance configuration file (etc/zope.conf) to include a line pointing to the Plumi products. Eg
      products /path/to/Plumi-X.X

    3. Restart Zope. There should be a restart button inside the Control Panel page in the ZMI.

    4. You can now add product in the Plone by going to the "Add/Remove Products" page on your Plone site , or the Quick Installer tool in the ZMI, clicking the relevant radio boxes and then hit "install". You should only need to install 'ATVideo' and 'PlumiSkin' - all the rest of the products will be pulled in by installers of those two products.

    For the set up of individual products please see the README or INSTALL inside each product's directory.

    Cosa non ti è chiaro? Questo CMS vuole l'utilizzo di Zope e Plone (application server). Perchè non provi con PhpMotion? 😄

    Anche io ho visto da poco Plumi...

    Non mi sono chiare alcune cose...

    1. Cosa è plome e come si usa....
    2. Non conoscendo l'inglese non capisco molto bene quello che mi dice di fare potri fare una traduzione veloce?
    3. Come faccio ad installare plumi sul mio server

    1. Plome dovrebbe essere un applicativo che dovrebbe essere installato sul server
    2. Quale parte non ti è chiara? 🙂
    3. Scarichi il file e lo uppi sul server

    he ci sono un bel pò di cose da capire... del resto quando si comincia a studiare un nuovo linguaggio è sempre cosi.

    Prima di tutto vorrei capire il ropporto con il server.
    Se invio un file python sul server ad esempio pagina.py si dovrebbe aprire come una pagina php o html giusto?
    Quando richiamo il file si comporta come un file exe e parte la procedure per il download.

    Seconda cosa... ho scaricato plome e mi sembra più che altro un server virtuale... cioè ti installa sul pc il python e attraverso quello dovresti vedere il funzionamento del sito anche su pc.

    Terza cosa... è possibile eseguire un file exe sul server in modo da installare programmi o altro?
