    [Risolto] .htaccess

    Salve ho appena installato jomsef, e cosi' come ho letto da questo forum ho provato a modificare il file htaccess.txt che era presente nella cartella di joomla inserendo nella riga di testo RewriteBase / la cartella dove il mio sito si trova che in questo caso e' RewriteBase/htdocs poi ho rinominato il file in .htaccess. Purtroppo pero' si visualizza la pagina di errore 404 una volta abilita a si il mod_rewrite dal pannello di amministrazione di joomla. Vorrei sapere se questo file va inserito all'interno della mia cartella htdocs oppure in una sottocartella del componente di jomsef?

    Va inserito dove hai i file di joomla, se nelal root lo inserisci li, se usi una sottodirectory, va nella sottodirectory...
    se ti restituisce un 404, è perchè è impostato male il file.

    i miei file di joomla sono nella cartella del server htdocs, per cui non ho fatto altro che inserirlo in questa cartella ma non ha dato risultato.
    E' corretta cmq la modifica del file htaccess scrivendo RewriteBase/htdocs?

    no scusa, solo la home si vede....

    posta il codice del tuo file che lo controlliamo.

    Dovresti provare a rimuovere il # iniziale da questa riga (cioè decommentarla)
    #Options +FollowSymLinks

    e vedere se cambia qualcosa.

    Se ancora dà errore prova a togliere (o metterci # all'inizio è lo stesso) la riga

    Se non funziona azzeri tutti questi esperimenti che ti ho fatto fare rimettendo il file che ti ha suggerito Globo e chiedi all'host di darti un' occhiata al file.

    Capirei che non ti supportassero se gli chiedessi di scriverti una rewrite complessa, ma se servono o no Options +FollowSymLinks, RewriteEngine e opzioni del genere lo sanno loro perché dipendono da come è configurato il server. E questo devono dirtelo.

    Ma quale hosting usi LINUX o WINDOWS?

    Se usi Linux la root per il pubblico deve essere il folder public_html.

    Se in questo folder c'è per esempio un file del tipo esempio.html, cioè nel pathway assoluto /home/public_html/esempio.html nel tuo sito uscira www.miosito.com/esempio.html

    Se per esempio sotto il folder public_html c'è un altro folder tipo DVD e in questo folder hai il file esempio.html (cioè il pathway assoluto /home/public_html/DVD/esempio.html) quel file la gente la vede nel www.miosito.com/DVD/esempio.html

    Questo solo per intenderci.

    Cominciamo qon il tuo problema

    1.) Lascia stare la componente JoomSEF Artio, c'è un altra versione patched di questa componente lo trovi http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,2337/Itemid,35/

    2.) Scaricala dal sito ufficiale http://www.kangainternet.com/remository/joomsef/joomsef-2.2.0-patched-version-no-adverts-no-meta-generator-tag/download.html

    3.) Instalala come un altra componente. NON DEVI MODIFICARE htaccess.txt! Quando instali la componente se non modifichi htaccess.txt un .htaccess giusto sara creato automaticamente.

    4.)Nella Global Configuration => SEO => Search Engine Friendly URL fala YES.

    5.a) Se hai instalato joomla nella root non devi modificare niente e tutto a in regola.
    5.b) Se hai instalato joomla in un folder devi agiungere il nome del folder devi moficare .htaccess , la dove è scritto TAO metti il folder dove hai instalato joomla.

    RewriteBase /TAO

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^(/component/option,com) [NC,OR]

    oggi finalmente ho risolto il grande dilemma, infatti ho inviato il file htaccess al provider spiegando il mio problema e prontamente mi ha risposto dicendo di aver sistemato e reso operativo il file. Oggi finalmente tutto funziona. Colgo l'occasione per ringraziare tutti coloro che mi hanno aiutato in questo forum.:yuppi:
