Section 80g will allow ngos to provide tax credits to funders to increase fundraising. Ngos have to be registered legally, non-profit and have to adhere to the audit and reporting standards. Form 10a with the necessary documents, is used in registration. It ensures transparency, credibility and is conducive to donations through tax incentives. The renewal should be done every 3-5 years. In the case of 80g, good utilization would enable the ngos to obtain constant funding and maximize social impact.
