Hello, flying with Tap Air Portugal EWR Terminal was a breeze in general. Check-in was speedy and the agents were polite. Security lines were reasonable, although the terminal lacks proper signage. The lounge was mediocre but tidy. Boarding was on time, and the gate agents were respectful. Staff at TAP spoke both English and Portuguese extremely well, and this was a big help. Although the terminal is missing some of the comforts of modern terminals, it's clean and well-arranged. The on-time departure and efficient boarding were a welcome surprise. I would suggest arriving early to find dining before security, as options are scarce afterwards. All in all, pleasant experience.
