A neti pot is a small vessel that is used to wash the nasal passages with a saline (saltwater) solution. It works to remove mucus, allergens, dust, and irritants, thus alleviating nasal congestion and maintaining sinus health. The fluid is introduced into one nostril and comes out the other, thus the nasal cavity is cleaned without the use of any harsh instrument.
