    [Risolto] Connessione Wireless ad Internet

    Salve a tutti. Io utilizzo Linux, precisamente la distribuzione Ubuntu 7.04 ed ho il seguente problema: attualmente sono connesso via cavo mediante un modem router della D-Link (modello DSL-G624T). Vorrei usare ora la relativa penna USB (modello DWL-G122) per collegarmi in modalità wireless.

    Sono andato sul sito http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/joomla/...33/id,list_c-f/, però ci sono diversi driver a seconda della tipologia del chipset della penna.

    Io (con la penna inserita) ho digitato da terminale sudo dmesg -c per avere notizie al riguardo, ma il listato che viene fuori non è di semplice lettura.

    Scusa se mi permetto, ma una visitina sul sito del produttore per vedere se ci sono le specifiche tecniche ?
    E quando anche non ci fossero, una bella email ?
    Con Ubuntu, ho dovuto (mio malgrado) cestinare un paio di periferiche USB perchè non supportate, supportano solo win.

    ti ha caricato il modulo rt73usb. Comunque, puoi fare anche un **lsusb -v **e vedere le specificazioni dei dispositivi usb attaccati al tuo pc.

    Scusa se non sono stato esauriente nel mio messaggio,ma nè nella guida sul CD di installazione (per Windows...) nè sul sito del produttore ho avuto utili informazioni al riguardo, e la mia e-mail con questa richiesta non ha ancora avuto risposta... :bho:

    Per quel che riguarda i link di linux non ci avevo fatto attenzione :arrabbiato: (perciò dicevo che il messaggio non era di facile lettura...).

    Per ora grazie Amarant,faccio un pò di ricerche e ti faccio sapere. 🙂

    Ho seguito pazientemente il tuo consiglio, Amarant: andando sul sito che il messaggio mi indicava ho scaricato il driver relativo e, seguendo passo passo quanto riportato nel file Readme, sono riuscito in quella che mi sembrava un'impresa ardua.

    Finalmente sono connesso wireless e (checchè se ne dica) con Ubuntu 7.04!!
