Global Citizenship Observatory (GLOBALCIT) of the Global Governance Programme (GGP)

Job description:

Based at the Schuman Centre?s Web Unit, the successful candidate will be in charge of migrating the content of the EUDO Citizenship Website to GLOBALCIT, in accordance with EUI protocols and rules. More specific duties include:
 Development and implementation of web user interfaces for the GLOBALCIT website;
 Supporting the development, testing and implementation of new features, in collaboration with internal resources or external contractors, including in-house developed tools and third party applications;
 Supporting the implementation of security and accessibility procedures, throughout the development and customization of advanced technical solutions;
 Supporting the maintenance and updating of the website, including installation of CMS software and plugins, managing access rights, etc.

**Qualifications: **

Essential:
 Excellent knowledge of CMS (Content Management Systems), such as Wordpress, and API (application program interface) common practices;
 Excellent knowledge of the key programming languages for the web, including: PHP, Javascript, etc.;
 Excellent knowledge of database management system MySQL (e.g., construction of HTML forms to query data)
