    Consiglio Hosting che supporti le risorse del mio sito

    Salve a tutti,

    attualmente ho un sito web ospitato su siteground con il servizio Grow Big, ma da quando sono su siteground gli ultimi del mese mi arriiva puntualmente l'avviso che ho superato il limite di risorse consentite. Ho seguito le indicazioni, ho installato anche Heartbeat come consigliato dal supporto di siteground ma nulla. Cosa dovrei fare per risolvere il problema?
    Consigliate il passaggio ad un VPS dedicato? ma io non ho nessuna esperienza sulla gestione di VPS. Potrei restare su siteground migliorando qualcosa?

    Prima di fare una scelta vorrei un consiglio da persone che ne masticano più di me.

    Dalle statistiche vedo che una media di 150 accessi al giorno, secondo me dovresti ottimizzare il sito (immagini, font, javascritp, css, ecc..). Inoltre il servizio di hosting che hai SiteGround lo propone per ~ 25,000 visite mensili.

    Il problema è che non capisco come ottimizzare il JS... se lo imposto sulla cache poi non si vedono le slides ecc... anche le immagini... uso image optimizer ma non saprei come specificare la dimensione.... come dice su metrics... cosa posso fare per ottimizzare?

    Io non voglio caricare le immagini sul sito quindi uso l'opzione del tema use first image as feautured image... ma questa sfrutta il timthumb che secondo me rallenta molto... non saprei come diminuire le esecuzioni...

    Uso quelli consigliati per siteground.... supercacher ... esclusiva di siteground e wp rocket che ho acquistato a parte perché si dice molto perfomante, la velocità del sito è aumentata... ma come dicevo... che che si tratti di un problema di ottimizzazione generale: un problema di definire le dimensioni delle immagini, usare il CDN e migliorare soprattutto il JS... ma se lo attivo non mi fa vedere alcune schede del sito... ma non saprei come fare per ottimizzare il JS, immagini e l'altro senza influire sul design del sito.

    Secondo me prima di andare a settare cache e CDN dovresti controllare alcune pagine del tuo sito a campione, analizzando le risorse che vengono scaricate (lo puoi fare agevolmente con "Ispeziona elemento" di Chrome) e verificare se effettivamente sono necessarie. Se il problema è l'eccessivo consumo di banda, con una media di 150 accessi/gg, il tuo pacchetto hosting dovrebbe essere più che sufficiente.

    A quanto ho capito il problema non è l'utilizzo di banda ma delle risorse CPU!

    Eccomi, si credo che sia proprio un problema di risorse CPU..... che vengono superate... numero di risorse ed esecuzioni...... non capisco come.... cloudfare sembra installato... però il numero delle esecuzioni supera ancora il limite giornaliero previsto da siteground....questi sono i primi numeri di Cloud fare da quando è stato installato ieri notte..... però il numero delle esecuzioni e CPU Usage supera sempre il limite come metterò sotto.... la cache comunque va bene... il lavoro di cache è fatto bene

    Il problema è dato quasi sicuramente da un plugin o dal tema, quindi prova a disattivare tutti i plugin e poi li riattivi uno ad uno finchè non trovi il plugin che consuma le risorse. Prova anche ad effettuare un test con questo plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/p3-profiler/

    Ciao X logic... avevo fatto il test giusto due giorni fa con quel plugin... ho disattivato un plugin di instagram che consumava molto (più di tutti anche se all'apparenza poteva sembrare innocuo) ma non ho risolto ancora il problema... non posso disattivare Yoast ed il Visual Composer del sito che sono i restanti due che consumano di più.... secondo me è dal tema perché vedo nella pagina commenti alcuni che si lamentano della cpu usage.... io non ho aggiornato il tema all'ultima versione perché aggiornandolo dovrei sempre caricare l'immagine in evidenza.... come potrei fare per ovviare il problema immagini? oppure c'è qualche hosting che da molto spazio ed è perfomante? anche perché le immagini sono importanti dal punto di vista SEO... non caricarle sempre sul tuo server ti penalizza un po...

    oppure potrei acquistare uno spazio solo per le immagini... come potrei fare?

    Mi sono permesso di analizzare nel dettaglio i dati che ci hai postato. In tutta onestà, almeno dal mio browser, non riesco a leggere i dati di utilizzo della CPU. La sola cosa che vedo è una statistica di utilizzo di banda e di inode impiegati dal tuo spazio web.
    Con 25.000 visitatori unici mensili e con l'impiego dei plugin enunciati in questo thread un hosting dovrebbe preoccuparsi innanzitutto di settare correttamente l'hosting al cliente, verificando attentamente cosa sta accadendo lato PHP.

    Sai cosa ti dicono quelli di siteground quando fai riferimento al problema?
    Il sito è popolare, devi passare a qualcosa di più perfomante? Ma se l'ho appena acquistato da due mesi.... all'inizio dicevano che sarebbe stato perfetto per il loro hosting... non fa tante visite... però verso il 25 del mese mi arriva la notifica che potrebbero sospendere il sito... ma boh...

    Sono a conoscenza delle loro politiche, ma al momento si tratta di capire come mai non siano intervenuti.
    Ho avuto modo di vedere nuovamente i grafici precedenti, stavolta li leggo.
    Pare evidente una cattiva configurazione del tuo spazio di hosting, inoltre con 150 visitatori in media al giorno noto un'altra cosa molto strana, il consumo di banda.
    Non mi sbilancio oltre perché non posso avere nel dettaglio dei dati di log da visionare, in tutta onestà non ho mai visto un sito consumare tutta questa banda con appena 4500 - 5000 visitatori mensili.

    Un Seo analisys mi ha informato che il problema è lo script... che in pratica permette di ridimensionare correttamente tutte le immagini.... quindi dovrei caricare le immagini... ma per un sito così mi sa che mi servirà molto più spazio web... o no?

    Quali sono gli errori di configurazione così posso farli sistemare? Purtroppo ci ha pensato sisteground a configurarlo... lo fanno loro quando acquisti il servizio...

    you need to hire someone who can fix timthumb code.

    Non ti serve più spazio web, su 20 giga ne stai usano meno di 2.
    La risposta è molto esaustiva, è un problema di codice del plugin che consuma molta CPU.
    Prova a sostituirlo con un plugin come questo:

    Inoltre non caricare immagini oltre gli 80 kb, quel traffico di oltre 23 gb di banda per 5000 visitatori circa è stato generato quasi certamente dal peso eccessivo delle immagini.

    Le immagini sono quasi tutte da url... le prende tutte timthumb, lo script che ti permette di ridimensionare correttamente le immagini, essendo nativo del tema io l'ho usato per risparmiare spazio... sapendolo prima avrei ovviamente declinato... ora però togliendolo rischio di non avere le vecchie immagini di thumbnail corrette o comunque tutte distorte... quel plugin ridimensiona correttamente la prima immagine caricata.

    Aggiornando il tema toglierei timthumb però al tempo stesso le immagini precedenti sarebbero tutte distorte... o comunque il 70 percento... su 1400 articoli presenti sul magazine in un anno di vita non è poco... quindi mi servirebbe una soluzione per salvare le precedenti... cioè che i thumbnail si vedranno bene anche senza lo script...

    quel plugin potrebbe ovviare a questo?

    Uno dei più grandi errori è prelevare per il proprio portale immagini da fonti esterne. Nel caso in cui quel link cambi o se la risorsa non è più disponibile, addio immagine!
    È buona regola uppare le immagini in una cartella che per convenzione rinominerai con "images", oppure puoi gestirle direttamente con l'uploader di WP.
    Purtroppo non sono un esperto di questo CMS, il mio lavoro è la gestione dei server.
    Vediamo se qualche anima pia si accoda a questa discussione per la soluzione del tuo caso.
